The John Rutter Gloria is one of the most performed sacred pieces of music written in the last century, and is jubilant in expressing devotion using the Latin text of the Gloria, a part of the Latin mass. Trotta's Requiem is as the full requiem mass with all ten parts. Trotta reaches back to the dynamics of traditional choral sacred music - with a large choir and organ accompaniment, Trotta's Requiem will have considerable impact.
