To show support for the United Nations’ 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, and IIW "Orange the World", the Palmerston North Clock Tower will be lit up in orange.

Orange represents, the colour if the rising sun, a new beginning, a future free from violence against women and girls.

You can see the tower lit up on 25 November 2025 from 17:30 to midnight.
