A community Art Exhibition in the Making
Inspired by Churches across the wider Palmerston North area

Old walls ~ New ideas.
A shift in perspective and the fun begins.
This workshop invites you to reimagine a 
local Church in your own expressive, colourful style.

Imagine drawing:
• A church that can’t quite keep its balance
• A sun that smiles back at you
• Clouds with personality
• Gravestones with stories
• Laundry fluttering where it “shouldn’t” be
• Cobwebs that sparkle instead of hide
If that makes your imagination stir…
this workshop is for you.

You’ll be guided step-by-step in a relaxed, welcoming space — with plenty of inspiration on hand. Reference folders, ideas, and creative prompts will be available throughout the day.

Each art piece will form part of a Community Exhibition celebrating historic church buildings — joyfully reimagined with a generous splash of doodling: beautifully bent, cheerfully wonky, vividly coloured, and alive with imaginative details in the background and beyond.

No art experience required / All art supplies provided - includes frame for your artwork for the Holy Doodles Exhibition              (Exhibition opening - Saturday 2nd May)
