No, this is only mandatory if you're taking passengers.
ā Can I take passengers?
Only if you have an MSNZ-approved roll cage.
ā What equipment do I need?
You need cotton/fireproof overalls, a crash helmet in good condition, closed shoes, driver license. If you're unsure, you're best to look at PlayDay's FAQs or ask them directly.
ā Can we have more than one driver per car?
Yes, the fee is $35 per additional driver according to PlayDay's EnterMe booking site.
