Super Cassette is an Oakland, CA-based indie rock band, formed in 2016 from Max Gerlock's solo project "Maximillian". The band, featuring brothers Max (vocals, guitar) and Nick Gerlock (guitar), plus bassist Devin Hollister and drummer David Rabkin, is known for its upbeat, danceable electro-indie-rock sound and dark, introspective lyrics that often explore themes of anxiety, depression, and queer identity.
