This hands on workshop uses ceramic shards, mirror and glass adhered to substrate boards which are wired to hang on the wall for interior or exterior use.Day 1 - 10:30-3:30Learn from images and examples about materials, design, gray scale, color, the use of tile and scoring tools and the appropriate adhesives for each project. Complete design and cement your own piece.Bring a Brown Bag lunchDay 2 - 10:30-1:00Learn about grout color, consistency and application then grout and finish your own mosaic.Supply ListStudents bring tiles nipper, hammer, safety glasses (or regular glasses), and a garden glove. Bring enough shards to swap and share and to cover a 12x12" board.
