Hybrid course: 3-Day In Person with required 8 Module Online Pre-Course

The in-person training is held at our Desert Gong Chamber at our home studio of Myokinetix in Plam Desert, California. Here we have dozens of gongs ranging in size from 14-48 inches, which we use in our training and which you will have an opportunity to play and learn on.
This certification is designed for practitioners, facilitators, and seekers ready to carry the gong’s transformative medicine into their work and community.
The Advanced Gong Therapies course is designed for practitioners ready to step into mastery. More than technique, this is a journey into the vibrational intelligence of the body, the fascia as living web, and the nervous system as a portal to healing.
Through the SVMT Method — Somatics, Vibration, Mindfulness, and Trance-informed practices — you’ll learn to weave the Gong into comprehensive protocols that support body, mind, energy, and spirit.
Graduates emerge as certified SVMT Advanced Practitioners of Gong Therapies, able to design and deliver advanced sessions for individuals and groups using Gongs as the main carrier of transformation.

Online Studies
The Online Pre-Course is required prior to the In-Person Session. The pre-course gives you the foundations of the Gong Therapies Training which allows more hands-on experience during the In-Person Course.

- The Gong as Portal — Introduction to SVMT Gong Therapy
Meeting the Gong as Teacher.
- The Science of Sound & the Gong, Resonance, entrainment, fascia, and brainwaves.
- The Body as Instrument — Somatic Listening, Listening with the whole self.
Techniques of Playing the Gong - Strokes, rolls, sweeps, silence, and intention.
Gong & Trance States- Bliss vs. trance, trauma-informed practice.
Gong for Healing & Transformation
Fascia release, vagus nerve, emotional release, integration. Gong Meditation, Gong Bath, Gong Nidra, Gong Puja.
- The Spiral of Transformation - Sound → Resonance → Silence → Integration.
- Facilitation, Trauma Informed & Ethical Practice - Holding space with compassion, from a trauma informed perspective and responsibility.
