- **Event Description**: We’re thrilled to welcome Beach Potato Embroidery to Cut Up & Sew this fall for two exciting embroidery classes. One of them is the Zip Zip Hurray! Zipper Bags Workshop—a fun, hands-on event where you'll create a fully lined, in-the-hoop zipper bag, with a seasonal theme as a stocking. Your kit will also include an Autumn and Halloween option to create at home.

These charming and practical bags are perfect for your purse, backpack, or sewing stash—and make great handmade gifts!

What to Expect in Class:
In the workshop, you’ll complete the Christmas Stocking Zipper Bag in class. You’ll take the remaining projects home to finish at your own pace.

Each student will also receive printed instructions along with a digital version, making it easy to continue at home.

Included in Your Kit:

All fabrics needed to make three fully lined zipper bags, including specialty materials like glitter, PU leather, and cork

11 pre-cut and numbered fabric pieces

3 YKK zippers

Lining fabric

A Beach Potato Embroidery USB flash drive preloaded with all design files and instructions

Printed and digital PDF instructions with color step-by-step photos (English only)

Project Options – Choose Your Hoop Size:

You must have an embroidery machine that supports one of the following hoop sizes:

9.5" x 14" Hoops (Approximate Finished Sizes):
8" x 12" Hoops (Approximate Finished Sizes):

Embroidery File Formats Included:
DST, EXP, EXP+, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX
(One size only per kit. Files will fit either a 9.5" x 14" hoop or an 8" x 12" hoop depending on your selection.)

Additional Notes:

This project is made almost entirely in the hoop (minimal hand sewing to close the lining)

You must have an embroidery machine to participate
Fabric selections may vary slightly from sample images
Lunch will be provided

Join us for a day of creativity, seasonal spirit, and skill-building. You'll leave with a completed project and everything needed to finish the rest at home. Space is limited—register early to reserve your seat!
