Sewing for Charity Party – Supporting Parkinson’s of Flagler Palm Coast

It’s time for another Sewing for Charity Party — and we’re doing something new this time! 

We are partnering with Parkinson’s of Flagler Palm Coast to create clothing protectors that will directly support members of our local community.

What We’re Making:
Clothing protectors designed to provide dignity, comfort, and practicality for those living with Parkinson’s.

Supplies We’re Collecting:

Hand kitchen towels (minimum size 15” x 24” — larger is great!)

1/3 yard fabric per protector (1 yard makes 3 protectors)

Masculine fabrics are in short supply — please bring non-gender specific or masculine prints when possible

We will also have a limited number of prepared kits available if you’d like to simply sit down and sew.

To make the day run smoothly, we’ll have a hostess and clearly organized stations set up for easy processing and creating. Whether you love cutting, pressing, pinning, or stitching — there will be a place for you to jump in!

At 10:30 AM, Renee from Parkinson’s of Flagler Palm Coast will join us to share more about how their organization supports individuals and families right here in our community. It’s always meaningful to hear exactly who we are helping.
