- **Event Description**: The Ted Moorhead Lagoon House is the headquarters of MRC and sits between US-1 and the Indian River Lagoon. It is also a public park of the City of Palm Bay and a welcome center on the IRL National Scenic Byways. As we are committed to leaving a cleaner world behind, we'll be hosting a litter sweep of the Indian River Lagoon shoreline on the property.

What will volunteers do?
Volunteers will clean up trash and debris from the shoreline of the Indian River Lagoon

What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Volunteers should be prepared to be in the Florida heat and humidity. Hats, water, sunscreen (or UPF clothing), and close-toed shoes are required. Water shoes are highly recommended. Gloves, trash bags, and trash pickers are provided. There is a bathroom, water fountain, and building with AC on site for breaks.
