Join us for a relaxed, family-friendly sunset hike to Mount Marlow, perfect for beginners looking to enjoy nature at an easy pace. 

We’ll meet at the turnaround at the end of Cape Pallarenda Road at 16:30 and begin our journey toward the Freshwater Trail, turning right onto the Many Peaks Trail. While most of the walk is gentle, there are a few steeper sections with bush steps that may be a bit challenging if you have sensitive knees. The summit of Mount Marlow sits at 260m elevation and offers stunning views, especially at sunset. We’ll take our time, enjoy breaks, and soak in the scenery.

After spending some time at the summit for photos and wildlife spotting, we’ll complete the loop via the Lagoon Trail and return to Cape Pallarenda Road. Although the pace will be slow and steady, the heat and terrain mean an average level of fitness is recommended. Don’t forget to bring a head torch, water, and comfortable shoes - this is a great chance to dust off your gear and enjoy a beautiful evening outdoors with good company.

The total DISTANCE of this event will be ~8km

The TIME this event will take depends on group dynamics, however we estimate ~4 hours at a slow pace with breaks and allowing everyone to explore the area.

The GROUP SIZE of this event will be ~15.

We will MEET at Walter Nisbet Park (The end of Cape Pallarenda Road) at 4.30pm sharp for a pre-hike/safety briefing.
