Join fellow liberal and progressive moms and caregivers in the northwest suburbs who are seeking community, support, discussion, education, and shared action. We believe deeply in the power of women and caregivers to shape change. We also know that we need each other now more than ever.
We’ll be organizing:
- Adults-only meetups
- Family-friendly gatherings
- Opportunities for advocacy and civic engagement
- Connections to partner organizations and events in our communities
Who is a “mama”?
We use the term mamas inclusively. If you are someone who holds care, nurturance, or the emotional labor of “mothering,” you belong here. This includes birth moms, adoptive moms, step/bonus moms, foster moms, aunties, grandmothers, guardians, non-binary and trans parents, pet moms, and anyone who shows up in the role of support, guidance, or love. If this resonates, you are welcome.
Northwest suburbs includes (but is not limited to): Palatine, Barrington, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, Mount Prospect, Itasca, Rolling Meadows, Roselle, Hoffman Estates, Buffalo Grove, Long Grove, Hawthorn Woods, Kildeer, and Lake Zurich. Anyone in neighboring areas is welcome.
