✨ Greek Ensemble Concert ✨
Join us on Friday, December 12th, 2025, at 7:30 PM for a special evening with the Harper College Greek Ensemble, live at the Harper College Performing Arts Center!
Under the musical direction of Petros Dragoumis, the program presents the story of Greek popular music throughout the 20th century, with a special focus on the bouzouki — the signature instrument of Greece’s urban folk tradition.
📜 Through iconic works by some of the most influential Greek composers and performers, the concert traces the evolution of the bouzouki and its central role in shaping Greek musical identity.
💙 It is a great honor and joy for us that an American college includes a Greek Ensemble in its official program, highlighting and honoring both the Greek American community and the richness of Greek musical culture.
