Welcome to the inaugural Pickle Rally!  Christmas for Kids of Kentucky, Inc. is thrilled to expand our fundraising efforts beyond the golf course and onto the pickleball court. Following the long-standing success of "The Greiner," we invite you to join us for a day of community, competition, and charity.

Our mission is simple: to raise as much money as possible to buy as many gifts as possible for as many children in our region as possible. By registering for The Pickle Rally, you are directly contributing to a brighter Christmas morning for local kids.
100% of your registration fee goes directly to the charity! Because we are hosting this on Zeffy, Christmas for Kids of Kentucky, Inc. pays no platform fees, ensuring every dollar supports our mission.

Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM Sharp! (Please arrive by 8:30 AM for check-in and warm-ups).
Location: Paintsville City Pickleball Courts (Located by Charlie Adkins Baseball Field).
Format: Mixed Doubles Only.
Eligibility: All ages and skill levels are welcome!

? Tournament Format & Flow
We want every team to get plenty of playtime and value for their donation. The tournament will utilize a Pool Play to Bracket format.
Phase 1 (Pool Play): Your team will be assigned to a pool (group) and play a guaranteed three matches against the other teams in that pool. These games are played to 11 (win by 1).

Phase 2 (The Championship): The top teams from each pool will advance to a single-elimination Championship Bracket. These matches are played to 11 (win by 2).

?️ Rules & "Charity First" Conduct
To maximize fairness and efficiency with only three courts, we have specific "House Rules":
Self-Officiated: There will be no referees. Players are responsible for calling all lines and foot faults on their side of the net fairly and honestly. If there is any doubt on a call, the ball is IN.
Figure It Out Clause: If teams disagree on a call, they must replay the point immediately. The goal of this event is charity; we ask that participants maintain an excellent sporting spirit and resolve "internal game battles" quickly among themselves so we can keep the tournament moving for everyone.

Basic Pickleball Rules Apply: Standard USA Pickleball rules regarding the double-bounce, the serve, and the "Kitchen" (Non-Volley Zone) will be observed.
