For centuries, cultures across the world have honored this moment as a celebration of life, abundance, and illumination, both outwardly in nature and inwardly within ourselves. It is a time when the sun stands still, inviting us to pause, reflect, and recognize the growth we’ve experienced since the darker months. Symbolically, the solstice represents clarity, vitality, and the blossoming of intention; what was once seeded in the quiet of winter now stands in the fullness of light.

The sweat lodge ceremony weaves beautifully into this energy. Just as the solstice honors the power of the sun, the lodge embodies the element of fire, heated stones glowing with ancient warmth, combined with water, earth, and air to create a space of deep purification and renewal. Entering the lodge is like returning to the womb of the Earth, a sacred darkness that paradoxically brings inner light. In this way, the ceremony mirrors the solstice itself: moving through heat, intensity, and release to emerge clearer, lighter, and more aligned. Together, they offer a profound opportunity to shed what no longer serves, reconnect with spirit and ancestors, and step forward into the brightness of the season with intention and openness.

The crew who support sweatlodge are individuals who have walked their own paths of initiation, healing, and remembrance, now standing together as one. Each of us carries our own gifts, yet we gather in unity to hold sacred spaces of healing rooted in the old ways.

This is a circle of gifted healers, practitioners, and space-holders, walking humbly in service. We are here to witness you, to support you, and to hold you through deep transformational work.

The Sweat Lodge is one of humanity’s most ancient ceremonial practices and a return to the Earth’s womb, where heat, steam, prayer, and song cleanse the body, quiet the mind, and realign the spirit. Within the lodge, we remember who we are and what it means to belong to the Earth, pacha mama, to Spirit, and to each other.

Times: Arrival by 1:00pm
Close and depart site by 10:00pm

Energy Exchange:

• £65per person
• £40 non refundable deposit to secure your place
• Remaining £25 balance payable in cash on the day

Included:
• Traditional Sweat Lodge ceremony
• Sacred fire and ceremonial holding
• Homemade vegan soup for grounding and nourishment

Please Bring;
• Towel
• Sweat Lodge clothing (natural materials, shorts, sarong, bikini, etc.)
• Warm outdoor clothing suitable for the weather and tourch. 
• Food and drinks to share throughout the day, bring bowl and spoon for soup.
• Drums and sacred instruments welcome (rattles, flute, guitar, etc.)

Please avoid synthetic materials inside the lodge.

Parking: Free parking at Blagdon Inn car park, where we will gather.
