Honing her craft on turntables at renegade parties that magically appeared all over the island, her music was mixed with the beauty of the island surrounding it -- crashing waves, whistling winds, twinkling stars, chirping frogs, singeing whales, and whatever else Mother nature brought to the show. From those wild days, Moonfire’s flames grew until they consumed the speakers of our favorite local dance events-- weekly gatherings like Ecstatic Dance and Bee Dance, as well as private campouts like Petting Zoo and CandyLand.
