- **Event Description**: This event, to be held at First Christian Church of Paducah (Disciples of Christ), is for anyone and everyone interested in participating or learning more about Four Rivers Indivisible. This has been a pivotal time and many new people have been joining and a number of those have requested a chance to meet and get to know the other members and to find out just what this group is all about. 

Typically, we organize online and have tried to keep in-person meetings to a minimum, primarily meeting only for smaller group committee meetings. But the time has come for our first membership-wide working meet-up.  This is also critical as we prepare to help launch the biggest protest in American history--No Kings 3, planned for March 28th. 

Agenda for this meet-up will include snacks/social time, information about Four Rivers Indivisible including Q & A, types of activities, volunteer opportunities including various national projects that people can work on independently, and how we approach non-violent strategic non-cooperation as a strategy for openly organizing to stop this authoritarian breakthrough moment. We will also discuss planning for No Kings 3 on March 28th. 

We are going to include segments and member-speakers on the philosophy and practice of non-violence and how and why it is integral to our approach and discuss what that means in action.  This will include general safety and de-escalation planning for No Kings 3 (March 28th). 

We look forward to having long time members, new members, those on our public information list that get notified of events that want to understand our group and its activities better, and anyone else curious about who we are and what we do. 

Directions for parking and which entrance to use will be emailed to those signing up closer to the date of the event. 

Come, bring a friend, bring your questions and hopefully your enthusiasm as we kick off this new year of critical activism!  We are all making history in this moment. . . .
