Pizzeria aperta ---------- Ma Gash Intl’ è un sound system nato a Ginevra nel 2005 da un gruppo di amici appassionati di reggae e dancehall. Fin dagli inizi si è fatto conoscere nella scena locale grazie alle serate organizzate al K-Bar e agli eventi prodotti insieme ad altri sound svizzeri, costruendo passo dopo passo una forte presenza nel panorama nazionale. La loro crescita è stata rapida: nel 2006 vincono il Geneva 45’ Clash e si ripetono nel 2008, per poi conquistare nel 2009 anche il Geneva Soundclash. In quello stesso anno si classificano secondi al Matterhorn Cup Clash, confronto che ha visto sfidarsi dodici sound system da tutta la Svizzera. La loro forza è sempre stata l’energia sul palco e una ricca collezione di dubplate e special realizzati con artisti come Bounty Killer, T.O.K., Elephant Man, Mr. Vegas, Sizzla, Serani, Bugle e Tarrus Riley. Dal 2008 Ma Gash Intl’ ha iniziato a portare il proprio stile anche oltre i confini svizzeri, suonando in città come New York, Montreal e Sydney, e condividendo il palco con artisti di fama internazionale tra cui Mr. Vegas, Demarco, Assassin, Konshens, Steel Pulse ed Echo Minott. Il loro repertorio abbraccia l’intera tradizione giamaicana, dallo ska alla dancehall, passando per reggae e contaminazioni hip-hop. Nel 2014, al CSO Pedro, partecipa alla prima edizione del Worries In The Area Soundclash sfidando il sound perugino I-Shence. Nel 2018 si aggiudica la quarta edizione del medesimo soundclash battendo Triggafinga.
