DEMONSTRATION TIMES:

*12 pm - Beginner Burlesque with Ruby Corvette (BYO Gloves)*
Discover the art of tease in this cheeky taster class, where we’ll explore classic movements like bumps, grinds, shimmies and tracing. Try your hand at a glove peel, the iconic move that left the audiences of Gypsy Rose Lee begging for more! Build confidence, have fun and connect with your body in our gorgeous studio space!
Bring your own opera-length gloves or borrow a pair from us.

*12: 45pm  - Feather Fan Dance with Citrine Velvetine (BYO Feather Fans)*
Dip your toes into the art of feather fan dance and learn elegant grip holds, classic shapes, and signature poses with ostrich feather fans. Enjoy a demonstration of different fan styles—including silk, ostrich, and pheasant! Both active participants and viewers welcome. Please bring your own set of ostrich feather fans to join in the physical demonstration.

*1:30pm  - 1960's GoGo with Clara Cupcakes*
Step into the decade that turned dance floors electric, and learn the Pony, the Watusi, and the Frug in this high-energy introduction to 1960s GoGo style. Fringe flying, heels stomping, this is pure vintage joy you can take straight to the stage.

*2:15pm  - Chairdance with Effie L’Amour (BYO Ikea Stefan or sturdy wooden chair to participate)*
One of burlesque's most enduring cornerstones, the chairdance has been stealing shows for decades, and now it's time for you to take a seat. Learn how to command the stage, hold the room, and make every move count.

*3pm – Floorwork with Cello Bordello*
In this Floorwork taster class, learn basic to intermediate skills in moves and transitions. Bring out your inner sexy and learn a sultry combo that is sure to have you melting across the floor.
BYO knee pads or wear leggings. Pleaser heels welcome or socks for sliding in.

Burlesque essentials available for purchase on the day by The Bordello Boutique, including a selection of rhinestoned pasties, pastie bases, head and hair pieces and other creations made by performer and tutor Cello Bordello.
