BEYOND THE REVEAL – MOVING WITH FEATHER FANS
This class focuses on movement-first fan work, exploring how feather fans can act as an extension of the arms and body rather than a separate prop. Through guided exercises, students will learn how fans can enhance momentum, shape and flow, supporting the bodies natural movement instead of limiting it.
Perfect for performers looking to deepen their relationship with feather fans and bring more life, range and movement into their fan dancing.
This open level feather fan workshop with Bailey-Bliss is designed for burlesque babes and fan dancers who want to move beyond holding fans and begin truly dancing with them.
Students should have basic familiarity with feather fans (how to hold and grip them, plus simple fan movements) but no advanced technique is required (although will never go astray.)
Prefer silk fans? If students have their own silk fans and are confident in their own technique and ability to adjust the grips and movement this workshop can absolutely work for silk veils as well. Bailey can assist with some technique for silks but we are focusing on the feather fan technique in this workshop.

SKILL LEVEL: Open, students must be able to bring their own feather fans and have enough experience with fans to be able to hold them and carry out basic movement with them

BRING: Feather fans, (the more flexible the better if you have options) clothes you feel comfortable to move in, bare feet or socks and water.
TOUCH IT – A SEXY BRATTY TIME
This class is all about indulging in your sexy, bratty, unapologetic confidence. This is a choreography class, designed to give you 1.5hrs of an extensive warm up followed by a sexy, sweaty, dancey fun time. Choreographed to Monifah’s ‘Touch It’ the choreography is commercial styled and focusses on floor work and technique, creating strong flattering shapes, eye contact and performance confidence and bratty, sexual energy. Step into the choreography without holding back.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate – all levels very welcome, the dance level in this workshop is designed for intermediate levels and will move at that pace
