It's time for a cool, simple car cruise.  Car guys (and girls) let's get together and enjoy a night out.  The Fast and the Furious is being re-released and remastered in 4k for the 25th anniversary, and the drive in was cool enough to add it to the schedule.  2nd movie of the feature will be Smokey and the Bandit.  

The meet up will be at I29 dragstrip at 5pm.  There is a race going on called Cruise and Lose.  So we can check out some cars and watch a couple hours of racing.  I'll get with the track on where they will want us to park once I start to have an idea of interest and update you in the comment section.      

From there we can start the cruise to Quasar drive in.  The movie will start some time around 820.  Its about an hr drive from the track so I would suggest everyone start loading up to head that way about 7pm.  

It's $15/person at the track and $10 a person at the drive in.   $25 bucks is nothing for a night out.  Lets dust off the cars and go have some fun.  Whether you have a muscle car, a streetcar, a ricer, a lowrider, a donk, a hot rod, a rat rod or a daily driver I don't care.  If you love cars and it can make the cruise then come join us.

All I ask is that you keep it safe.  We don't need to end up on the news.  If you wanna go do dumb $4it, I ain't knocking it, just don't do it around us.   Bring the family, bring some chairs, bring the kids, bring a speaker, hell bring a picnic table.  

The cruise route from the track will be 34 west, 75 north, 80 west, 680 north, dodge st west, highway 36 east, N 300th st north.  Easy route, easy cruise.  Hopefully the weather cooperates.  If not hop in the daily and just get out for a night.  

I don't know whether to expect 40 cars or 400.  We are just going to see how this thing goes.  Spread the word.  I'm not affiliated with the dragstrip or the drive in but I have made them both aware of the cruise.
