She has performed in major venues including Carnegie Hall, Kimmel Center, Miller Theatre at Columbia University, Princeton Sound Kitchen, and other leading concert halls across the United States and internationally.As a passionate chamber musician, Hao Yang made her Carnegie Hall debut premiering the guitar duo Talking Guitars by renowned composer Paul Lansky with guitarist JIJI. She has performed on the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society (PCMS) series and was a guest artist at the Concordia Chamber Festival. As a recording artist, she has collaborated with Grammy Award–winning label Bridge Records on multiple chamber music releases featuring works by Paul Lansky and Poul Ruders.In 2021, Hao Yang won the prestigious Astral Artists’ National Audition, one of the most significant honors for emerging classical musicians. Her additional accolades include top prizes at the Koblenz International Guitar Competition Hubert Käppel 2024, the 54th Markneukirchen International Instrumental Competition (Germany), second prize at the GFA International Concert Artist Competition, and first prizes at the GFA International Youth Competition, CSU International Guitar Competition, and the Andrés Segovia 7th International Guitar Competition.
