For Outstanding in the Field  guests, there is no seat at the table more coveted. Participating as chef is also coveted. Chef Devin Lawrence participated last year as support with the big sur event for chef Jacob Burrell. Devin lobbied hard to get the position this year. Lawrence’s specialty is whole-animal, open flame cookery. He and his team source from farms actively engaged in holistic grazing, viewing their work as a reverent endeavor that honors the life of the animal. This event can be a spiritual experience on so many levels.
