- **Event Description**: **Save the date - tree planting event on the vacant blocks on Wilpowell Street Oxley!**

Join us on Saturday 9 May from 230pm to 430pm (just come for as long as you like) as we plant approximately 30 trees to beautify this area, and provide shade for years to come. There will be space left for local children to play, and in time, hopefully a bench seat. Afternoon tea included, so BYO rug or chairs (and gloves if you have them).

Children will especially enjoy the activity, as we discovered when we planted the small number of trees here last year. You are welcome to come even if you don't have the physical capability to assist with the planting.

Event coordinated by Councillor Nicole Johnston and her team, and local residents of Oxley Creek Estate.
