Winter Tree ID

Learn expert tree ID, using twigs, bark, buds, and other fine details to tell what trees are around you. This program features ~1 hour of indoor classroom learning paired with a 2-hour outdoor slow hike to learn about a selection of native trees around the CEC. The class will wrap up around 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. This program is best suited to adults. No prior tree identification background needed.

The class is free but requires registration (and will fill quickly!). To register, click the "ticket" link. Note that there are two class options, Friday Feb 27 or Saturday, Feb 28. Please sign up for only one.

(Please honor your registration. This class will fill and will likely have a long waitlist. If you register, please do not cancel or no-show - of course, we understand illness and other emergencies come up. Please do not sign up unless you plan to attend.)
