Drawing on her doctoral research into British and American poster campaigns, Dr Nina Kruglikova reveals how language, imagery and rhetoric combined to persuade, mobilise and control public sentiment. Nina is joined by Gretel Kahn from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford to compare propaganda messages from the 1910s–1940s with those of the 2010s–20s.
