Guided with care, curiosity, and compassion, these sessions offer a supportive space to write, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.Bringing over 15 years of experience leading and co-facilitating writing-led well-being sessions, Anne-Marie Cockburn has collaborated with a diverse range of groups and organisations, including the NHS Senior Leadership Team, University of Oxford (Apprentice Well-being Day), Restore (Well-being Day), the Youth in Mind Conference, the Free Word Festival (online), and Pr*son groups through Restore, the Pr*son programme run by The Forgiveness Project. These experiences have demonstrated how creative writing can serve as a powerful tool for reflection, emotional well-being and connection—regardless of background or circumstance.From the moment she was able to pick up a pencil, writing became Anne-Marie’s solution to navigate through difficult moments in life. She describes it as her 'fourth emergency service' and loves the simplicity and power that putting words on a page can bring.She is the author of the critically acclaimed book, 5,742 Days: A Mother's Journey Through Loss, which was launched on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour, selling over 10,000 copies. Her work focuses on using personal experience as a tool for healing.No prior writing experience is necessary, just turn up as you are in this very moment.
