Forget generic countdowns, overpriced fizz, and the same playlist you’ve heard a hundred times. This is Oxford’s New Year’s Eve event of the decade.

We’re taking over The Bullingdon – Cowley Road’s legendary live music and club venue — and turning it into a full-blown Time Machine. From 10pm until late, you’ll step through the decades, dance through the eras, and count down to midnight in a way Oxford has never seen before.

From 1970 through 2025, we’re dropping the number one song of every year. Back-to-back, decade by decade, mixed live with lights and crowd energy that will feel like a rocket launch into 2026.

Each year gets its moment. Each decade its own sound, its own colour, its own vibe. By the time we hit the final track of 2025, you’ll be counting down with hundreds of voices, sparks, confetti, balloons, and Oxford’s biggest midnight moment.

Every New Year’s Eve party promises “fun.” We’re promising Oxford’s most unforgettable night out. Here’s how:

✨ Time Travel Soundtrack – 56 years of #1s, decade themes, and Oxford-curated sets that actually mean something.

✨ Two Spaces, Two Vibes – Main room: explosive energy, countdown spectacle. Front bar: decade deep cuts, singalongs, and space to catch your breath.

✨ Immersive Visuals – Projections, year-stamped graphics, and lighting that pulls you right into each era.

✨ Photo Booth Pop-Up – Because you can't do NYE without proper selfies.

✨ The Midnight Moment – Confetti, balloon drop, Oxford’s loudest Auld Lang Syne x modern drop mashup. Goosebumps guaranteed.

✨ After Midnight Energy – House, disco, garage, drum & bass: Oxford’s party heartbeat until close.

• 10pm – Step through the Time Tunnel entry. Claim your year sticker. Warm-up funk and house.
• 10:30pm – Decade Draft: which era will rule the night?
• 11pm – The big one: 1970 → 2025 count-down. 56 years. 56 tracks. The room will lift.
• 11:59pm – Oxford’s midnight explosion: countdown visuals, sparks, confetti, and the drop into 2026.
• After Midnight – All gas, no brakes: party until the sun rises.

New Year’s Eve is the night you remember—or regret. And in Oxford, the choice is often limited: pubs too packed, clubs too random, ticketed events too generic.
