Maltby’s Bookbinders was established in Oxford in 1834, and the building was later home to the company’s bookbinding workshops. Its large first-floor windows were designed to flood the workshops with natural light for the detailed work of bookbinding. The space later became a bike shop before evolving into the independent café and kitchen that occupies it today.From bookbinders, to bikes, to electronic music — we’re pretty pleased to be adding another chapter to its history.EMOM is a relaxed, inclusive open-stage night where electronic musicians, producers and sound artists of all levels can book a slot and perform.Expect everything from ambient and downtempo to techno, electro, experimental and glitch — all styles and setups are welcome.
