We will have art and exhibitons from Nicole-Rose Munhawa and in conversation with Multaka and Gurcharan Virdee.Nicole-Rose Munhawa is a Zimbabwean-born British visual artist, designer, and creative practitioner known for her vibrant, expressive artwork and community-focused creative projects. She works across multiple mediums including painting, murals, and installation art and often explores themes of identity, culture, and belonging through bold colour and textured compositions.Multaka-Oxford is an award-winning community and cultural engagement programme based at the Pitt Rivers Museum and the History of Science Museum at the University of Oxford. The word Multaka means “meeting point” in Arabic, reflecting the project’s mission to bring people from different cultures together through museums, heritage, and shared storytellingGurcharan Virdee is a humanitarian and development professional known for his work on gender, protection, and community engagement in international development and cultural heritage initiatives. He has worked as a Senior Gender and Protection Consultant, contributing to research, policy discussions, and programmes focused on social justice, migration, and the protection of vulnerable communities.
