This in-person event will feature a thought-provoking film that explores the power of grassroots movements in shaping our communities. Film with be followed by a Q&A with several of the film's creators, along with Water Valley Board of Alderman Nicole Folson, and WVHS English/ Journalism teacher Anna Koshenina. We’re excited to share this feature documentary, two years in the works, with you. It explores the state of our democracy, largely from the perspective of young people with a focus on education. It’s full of hope, joy, and energy, but also the challenges and obstacles to meaningful participation in our system.
