ATTENTION: Event date was updated to 22nd Feb!
Dear queers and non-queers!, grads and undergrads! (and everyone in-between ;P),
You are invited to Wrecking Ball 2.0 — Kellogg’s LGBTQ+ annual fundraising BOP!
The BOP will include live drag performances, themed decorations with matching cocktails, the biggest queer anthems, an inclusive, safe and fun environment for everyone, and many more to be announced! So, click ‘Going’ today!
Kellogg will open its doors at 8pm on Friday 22nd February (6th Week Hillary), until after midnight, upon when all attendees will be invited to join the afterparty at The Plush Lounge, by offering q-jump tickets!
For the second year in a row, Kellogg MCR is organising our infamous BOP in support of LGBTQ rights, where through partying, music and dance we raise money for a better world.
The fundraising proceeds will be donated to ILGA Europe, the biggest organisation supporting LGBTI rights across Europe. They have overseen queer interests in the area with great success; one of their latest triumphs being the “Coman case”, regarding the definition of ‘spouse’ in European Law, which allowed for freedom of movement to be extended to same-sex spouses, irrespective of the receiving country’s legislation recognising same-sex marriage or not. Further information on ILGA Europe can be found here: https://www.ilga-europe.org/
Entry to the BOP is at £3 donation and on an optional first-come first-served basis you can donate £5 total to gain entry to the BOP and Plush after-party Q-jump wristband and one free shot!
There is a maximum of 150 Plush wristbands, so make sure to come early to not miss out!
All ticket donations will go towards the charity, including 20% of the Kellogg bar revenue for the night and an extra £1 donation from Plush for every Wrecking Ball guest going there for the after-party (make sure to mention "Wrecking Ball" when entering Plush!!!).
