Over the 2 day course we will cover:

How to assess for injuries and limitations
Modifications for the 26 yoga postures based on common injuries and limitations
How to modify for individuals, why still teaching a class
How to support and engage students so they feel supported and engaged and informed
The use of props in the Hot26 and when appropriate
The types of modifications we will cover:

Common injuries relating to the spine, shoulders, knees
Modifications for common chronic illnesses such as arthritis
Modification relating to flexibility, strength and body size
We will also cover:

How to use the Hot26 as part of a healing journey
The do’s and don’ts as a Hot26 teacher
During this course you will receive a lot of opportunity for teaching practise as well as lecture style learning.

As part of the course you will receive a manual and also a certificate on completion
