- **Event Description**: As part of our weekend-long celebration of Johnson County's recent designation as a Bird Friendly Iowa community, join the Iowa City Bird Club for a Beginner Bird Walk. This will be a shorter, one-hour beginner level walk around the CEC 1/2 mile loop. The trail is paved with crushed limestone and is relatively level with one hill. 

Binoculars are available for loan or you are welcome to bring your own.

On Saturday, November 15 we will host a bird-themed Conservation Education Center Open House from 12:00 - 3:00 pm. There will also be a guided bird walk at 1 pm.
