CVHS Summer Meeting

Please plan to join us for the CVHS Summer meeting that will be held in LaFayette, AL this Saturday, July 19, 2025 at “The Venue”, on the Courthouse Square, at 10 am Central/11 am Eastern. The Venue is located at 9 Alabama Av E, LaFayette, AL.

There is no pre - registration required to attend and the meeting is open to the Public (Free to attend).

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Larry Krumenaker, who is an expert on the life of the Marquis de Lafayette, for whom the City of LaFayette is named. Dr. Krumenaker will also have copies of his Books on the Travels of Marquis de Lafayette available for purchase.

A short walking tour on the early history of the City of LaFayette will follow this event, to be provided by CVHS Board Member (and Local Author) Ron Williams, which is also free and open to the public to attend.
