Along with free exploration in the Discovery Room, there will be bird themed activities in the classroom, including:

- Kent Park Nest Box Monitoring Info
- DIY Window strike deterrents
- Raptor Learning  Activities
- Feathers, Skulls, & Other Bird Adaptations
- & More 

Outside, we'll have a self-guided bird search activity along the CEC trail. 

At 1 pm join Iowa City Bird Club for a beginner bird hike. Binoculars & field guides provided, or bring your own.

The CEC Open House is come-and-go. Stop in anytime between noon and 3:00 p.m.
