- **Event Description**: Relax and unwind with friends or make some here! This fun class will take you through one of the oldest Japanese crafts of plate making using wooden moulds and a piece of foam. This is one of my favourite methods of making pottery. We will make a set of 3 nesting plates- serving, side and condiment sized. . Listen to some groovy tunes and sip on some tea or wine while we learn the slow process of hand building with clay. The class is Approximately 2 hours. After the class, your masterpieces will be left here to dry slowly, I will them give them a sand, bisque fire them, and hand glaze them in a white glaze and fire them again Ready for collection in approximately 5-6 weeks.
