The awesome Bill Struck will be on-hand to detail the origins of the PM 1225 and its journey to Owosso. You won't want to miss out on this informative event that kicks off our summer lecture series.

Hear why the PM 1225 is rightly called “The Spartan Locomotive” and “The Real Polar Express.” The PM 1225 is one of the largest steam locomotives ever to operate in Michigan, was restored by MSU students - from a rusting shell to full operation - and is now owned, maintained, and operated by SRI out of Owosso, Michigan.
Lecture Series is free for members of SRI, just $5 for non-members with tickets available at the door.
