This 5K Run/Walk will honor the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. March on Washington August 28, 1963, for jobs and freedom where he delivered his iconic “I Have a Dream” speech to an estimated 250,000 demonstrators.  The proceeds will support the Owensboro Human Relations Commission in its efforts to strengthen and unify the Owensboro community by advancing equality, inclusion and belonging for its diverse peoples through advocacy, education empowerment and accountability.
