Summerfolk Youth Discoveries - Our Roots Are Showing Concert

Enjoy the final concert in the 2025 edition of Our Roots Are Showing - an intimate concert series at Grey Roots Museum & Archives.

Summerfolk, the iconic festival on Owen Sound’s waterfront, turns 50 this year.

Celebrate 50 years of Summerfolk with a special evening of emerging talent. Grey Roots is proud to present the Summerfolk Youth Discoveries Showcase, featuring standout young performers selected to appear at this summer’s 50th Anniversary Summerfolk!

The lineup includes:

Bryson Cleland – A Thornbury-based multi-instrumentalist and busker, Bryson performs in his school band and orchestra.

Ella Frank – A Toronto indie-folk artist blending ethereal melodies and a grounded vocal style.

The Ruthven Sisters – Camryn, Aniah, and Haidyn of Beaver Valley bring vintage harmonies and sibling creativity to the stage.

Finbar Wall of The Commune – A poetic voice from Hamilton’s rock scene, Finbar fronts one of the city’s most exciting young bands.
