- **Event Description**: The Steele County Historical Society, SCHS, is offering Rosemaling Painting Workshop from 10 am to 3 pm, on Saturday, April 18, in Lange theater, at the Steele County History Center, 1700 Austin Road.  This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in Norwegian Rosemaling and would like to learn the techniques of this art form.  The workshop will be taught by Lyn Rein, from Faribault, Minnesota.  Lyn is owner of MOD Nordic Arts and is a third generation Rosemaler.  Lyn and her mother, Donna Johnson, have been asked back to SCHS by popular demand for this workshop.  The cost per person for this workshop is $30 which includes supplies and lunch.  Space is limited for this workshop so sign-up early by calling 507-451-1420.
