Mahoney joined the Thunder in 2008 and has helped tell the team’s story since its very first season in Oklahoma City. He oversees the organization’s broadcasting operations, business public relations and digital communications and has had a front-row seat to the Thunder’s growth into an NBA championship organization.Before joining the Thunder, Mahoney spent 18 years in radio and television and served as communications director for Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating. His remarkable career in journalism, public service and professional sports makes this a special opportunity to hear from one of the leaders behind one of Oklahoma’s most celebrated organizations.Lunch proceeds support the Owasso Character Council’s ongoing work to promote character throughout our community, including character-focused resources, community programs and the Council’s annual $5,000 scholarship.
