- **Event Description**: Happy Holidays to all!  It's almost time for our Christmas skate/roll for the 2nd year at our new location.  Get your bling and blinks on and prepare to light up the the trail and neighborhoods around Oviedo and Winter Springs.  We'll meet at the parking lot of the Townhouse Grill in Oviedo for a night roll to the holiday lights and decorations in the area via the Cross Seminole Trail.

This will be a recreational paced roll but participants should be comfortable with maintaining at least 10mph and skating/biking a distance of between 12-14 miles.  Group up is at 6:30pm with rollout around 7pm after the traditional group photo.  

Please dress accordingly to be SAFE and SEEN around traffic. Personal lighting for safety is strongly advised and will be needed as some areas are either very dark or poorly lit, especially on the bike trail. Feel free to get creative with your lights! Each year we become a brighter rolling holiday lights parade on wheels!  We've scoped out the most decorated houses for a route that will include residential streets and trail sections to get us to the neighborhood areas.  We'll endeavor to complete the route within 2 - 2-1/2hrs. There are limited bathroom stops on our route but there are facilities at the restaurant in our parking area.  The Townhouse Grill has been very welcoming of the trail users.
