"Free tour" of the city of Oviedo in English

Go on an adventure through the history of this medieval city on this "Free tour" of Oviedo (A "Free tour" is a walking tour where you pay nothing to book a place on the tour and instead pay at the end based on your experience).

We’ll be starting the walking tour in the heart of the city, by the Cathedral, near the statue to Alfonso II. We’ll explore its medieval streets discovering their past and present, and meeting some characters on the way. We will discover the importance of Oviedo as a market city. We will leave the old town and its medieval streets behind bit by bit, while talking about some of the most important festivities and events that take place here. Finally, we will finish in the heart of the modern city, where most of the shops in Oviedo are located. Our last stop will be a church that has quite a few secrets to reveal.

The duration of the tour is around 2 to 2:30 hours in total. I recommend using appropriate comfortable clothing.
