Professor Laura Thomsen, a self-professed Potterhead, will be in charge of this School of Kitchen Witchcraft & Culinary Wizardry! She’s excited to teach this magically awesome 4-day cooking series where you’ll gather in The Culinary Center of Kansas City’s Great Hall Kitchen and learn dazzling culinary wizardry (aka essential cooking techniques).

As you soak in all of the tips and tricks, you’ll learn an array of enchanting dishes, including culinary sorcery such as Cheese Howlers with Pepperoni, and Magical Marinara, Flaming Phoenix Wings (chicken wings), Slytherin Sausage Rolls, Hagrid’s Rock Cakes, Chocolate Frogs, and so much more!  It’s hard work cooking in a castle so we’ll break out the cauldrons and create a Soothing Summer Potion to cool off as we create the cookie dough for delicious Sorting Hat Cookies. Each day brings new culinary spells for our wizards to try. Our menu of magical bites, treats, and beverages will not only educate your young Chef on the magic of cooking, but will spark an interest in exploring new flavors and growing their creativity in the kitchen.  You’ll leave with all the recipes so you can recreate these yummy dishes at home in your own castle to show off to friends and family.
