About the event

How is Your Heart Slow Stitch Workshop
Workshop: How is Your Heart?
Date: Saturday, March 21st, 10am-1pm
Location: Blue Bird Studio - 6416 W. 83rd Street
Price per person: $68
Max class size: 16

Description:
Join us in the studio for a morning of mindful slow-stitching with textile artist Aimee Hagedorn. Originally created as an interactive exhibit for the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, this hands-on embroidery workshop is centered around a simple but meaningful question: How is your heart doing, at this very moment?

Using a needle, thread and simple embroidery techniques, guests will begin stitching small, individual pieces as a way to check in with themselves and each other before passing along to their neighbor. By the end, each piece will carry a quiet record of our collective attention — a visible reminder that we are never stitching, healing, or reflecting alone.

No prior embroidery experience is needed for this workshop and all materials
provided. Come ready to stitch, share, and reflect.
