About Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC)
DCC, from Goodman Games, is a “d20” ttrpg system that many players will already be familiar with. It is built with a lot of similar components to (e.g.) 3.5e and other OSR-type games. Two unique aspects of DCC are its use of “Luck” as one of the six ability scores and its use of the “dice chain” to reflect relative boons and banes on players and monsters. The game uses 7 extra “funky dice” in addition to the traditional 7. It’s a game where magic can be as much of a blessing as a curse and where PC death is quite routine. The Judge (GM) will have his “RIP” stamp primed and ready for your character sheet!

What to Expect
For this game, the Judge will have some pre-generated characters (Level 3). The setting can be creepy, but the Judge will strive to keep it as PG-13 as possible. Disclaimer: Alcohol abuse, murder, and cults are themes of this adventure.

Who Should Attend
Players from my previous Shudder Mountains games are welcome and can play their existing characters. Other seasoned DCC vets and beginners alike are welcome as well.

What to Bring
A set of polyhedral dice and a sense of humor is about all you’ll need. The Judge will have extra funky dice for use if you don’t have any.
