C.O.M.E.T. (Changing Our Minds and Emotional Trajectory)

The Overbrook Police Department and Health Innovations of Kansas will host COMET (Changing Our Mental and Emotional Trajectory) on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM at the Overbrook United Methodist Church. The class will be taught by a mental health therapist from Coffey County Health System. The course will cover ways to talk to friends, neighbors or acquaintances about difficult topics and ways to use COMET to have conversations about another’s well being. This free class is open to anyone and business owners, parents, educators, church members and all citizens are encouraged to attend.
