The immediate care she received saved her life, but tragically, not her legs and the months since have seen the young teenager undergo over 60 operations, throughout which she has shown enormous strength and resilience. During this time, her community has rallied around her, like a comfort blanket, doing everything in their power to ensure Féile’s road to recovery will be eased and alleviated by the fundraising efforts that have been underway since that fateful day. The Stand4Féile Trust has raised over €800,000 since the accident – a commendable achievement, bringing a chink of light to Féile and her family in their darkest hour.Always committed to doing their bit to support those most in need, The White Horse Gospel Choir are beyond delighted to lend their support to help raise funds towards Féile’s recovery. Not only that, they will be joined by the amazing, effervescent energy of Fiona Kennedy, who did not hesitate to come on board and lend her support.Fiona Kennedy is known and beloved across the country as an award-winning singer and songwriter, with a career spanning over 30 years. Her most recent album “Find Me” saw a sold-out nationwide tour, along with a coveted spot on RTE Radio 1’s Recommended List. Following the success of her album, Fiona launched the hugely popular ‘Natural Woman’ tour, which has travelled the length and breadth of the country, to sell out halls and rapturous response. The White Horse Gospel Choir are delighted to team up with Fiona Kennedy for this very special event!The venue for the night’s entertainment will be Éire Óg GAA Hall, in Ovens, who have very kindly made the space available to the Stand4Féile Trust for the fundraiser.
