San Juan Choral Festival: 6-6:30 pm Heavy Diamond Ring: 6:45-8 pm Hayley Jane Band: 8:15-10:15 pm For our 2nd concert we warmly welcome the Hayley Jane Band! Hayley Jane’s performance is layered with raw intensity + linguistic prowess. She has a deeply emotive + highly magnetizing presence that’s generating a buzz in the industry. Hayley pulls inspiration from a variety of styles, including 60s + 70s rock + pop, musical theater, folk, blues, soul, psychedelic, funk + bluegrass. Just as varied, are the many ways she can captivate an audience. Whether the concentrated potency of her solo acoustic performance, the explosive energy + movement of her full band shows, or one of her theatrical performances, she always brings the charisma, humor + passion to move an audience. Her music has been praised by a wide range of musicians, producers + music lovers alike, for successfully combining a diverse sound with clever, over-the-top lyrics + Vaudevillian-style storytelling. Hayley reawakens her audiences to the wild parts of themselves, great medicine for these modern times. Heavy Diamond Ring will take the stage in the 2nd slot and will absolutely delight you with their signature sound of open-hearted All-American folk-rock! Some things are just meant to last. When Sarah Anderson and Paul DeHaven met and began playing together in 2004, they had no idea just how deep the well of their musical partnership would prove to be. After the disbanding of indie-folk sweethearts Paper Bird, the duo founded Heavy Diamond Ring and never looked back. HDR is the culmination (thus far) of their signature sound, a fountain of open-hearted, folk-rock, steeped in vocal harmony and group synergy. Led by Anderson's smooth-as-honey vocals and DeHaven's rugged guitar chops, the band has been described as "open-road, long drive music", having "a little bit of twang, and a whole lot of beef”, and their live show as "infectious and contagious". The band is rounded out by veteran knockouts Blake Stepan (bass), Mike Lang (keys), and Orion Tate Ignelzi (drums). Opening our 2nd concert, the San Juan Choral Festival will be performing several songs, including the National Anthem. SJCF 2025 is a 32 Voice Choir. The choir consists of seven professional musicians (music director, accompanist, and 5 soloist / section leaders), and 27 experienced volunteer singers. Half of the choristers are local to the San Juans and half are from outside of the region. During the week SJCF will be rehearsing and singing concerts in Ridgway, Telluride, and Ouray. Food, beer, wine, spirits and our famous margarita's will be available for purchase. This is a free, outdoor, and family friendly event, so no outside alcohol, no marijuana in the park and dogs must be leashed and waste cleaned up.
